Larry Page is one of the co-founders of Google, along with Sergey Brin. He was born on March 26, 1973, in East Lansing, Michigan, USA. Page grew up in a family of computer scientists, which played a significant role in shaping his interest in technology.
Page earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan and then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in computer science at Stanford University. While at Stanford, he met Sergey Brin, and together, they developed the PageRank algorithm, which formed the basis of Google's search engine.
In 1998, Page and Brin founded Google, which quickly became the dominant search engine on the internet. Page served as Google's CEO until 2001 when he became the president of products. In 2011, he took over as CEO once again but stepped down in 2015 to focus on other projects.
The page has been recognized for its contributions to the field of technology, including being named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world in 2004, 2005, and 2006. He is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering and has received several other awards and honors throughout his career.
In addition to his work with Google, Page is also involved in several other technology ventures, including the development of a flying car called the Kitty Hawk Flyer and the establishment of a startup called Sidewalk Labs, which aims to use technology to improve urban living.
