How did Sergey Brin meet Larry Page?

Sergey Brin and Larry Page met at Stanford University in 1995. Sergey was assigned to show Larry around the campus when he arrived as a new student. They soon discovered a shared interest in data mining, and began collaborating on a research project to create a better way to organize and search through large amounts of information on the internet.

Their collaboration eventually led to the development of the PageRank algorithm, which formed the basis of their search engine, Backrub. The two then went on to co-found Google in 1998, with Sergey serving as President of Technology and Larry serving as CEO.
